his name is Devin the dude- I dont know if his music might be up your speed he's no Barry Manilow but he does listen to the Steve Miller Band on occasion. He's a smoker and (im not talking cigarettes or cohibas) but he's an a class act his music is well produced and I simply adore him!...it's funk it's soul it's rap its blues its country rap tunes the Dude get the second album first youll love him!

Never heard of her but I doubt she is doing to well. Investors are looking for profit - where it comes from is immaterial. For every person that refuses to buy a stock on moral grounds there are thousands who will step in and buy. We have become a race were money contains it's own morality. Money is always "green" no matter how much "red" (blood) is spilt on it. That is why globalization will happen - the opportunities for profit are to great.

The cheapest commodity on earth is the human being. He works hard, often out of desperation. He can survive on the meanest amount of wages and he is a renewable resource - there are plenty new "labours" being born. And many more to come.

The saying, "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is true, but the real saying should be, "the rich get smarter, and the poor get dumber." We can count ourselves among the "poor and the dumber" when we shell out $5.00 for a 25c cup of coffee!

We, the consumers are part of the problem, we pay for prestige things that we don't really need, or could buy cheaper. We created the demand, all the companies do is to provide what we are to willing to buy. We are taken in by the slick advertising - boy are we dumb!! And our dumbness is causing suffering. We need to be more educated and to have a better moral compass.

Here is an example of how easily we can be taken in. I went into a drugstore. I was suffering from "gas!" I found a product, sitting in the best spot for the buy to see, - $16.00 for eight capsules! It was a well-advertized product. It's one and only ingredient? Simethicone. On the bottom shelf was a few sorry looking bottles $2.00 each, containing 50 tablets - its only ingredient? Simethicone! Just to show you that I was a "child of hype" I pause to think which would be the best!!!!!! They were both the same!!! (Except for price.) I tell you all that to say that we are not observant shoppers. We fall for the hype. I don't know if people suffer making Simethicone, but that is not the point. We must be careful what we buy because if we are not we create the problem. $5.00 of a 25c cup of coffee is a problem for someone.

your so wise. i made up my mind a long time ago that I was gonna lie anybody to take my pockets for granted all in the name of consumerism. it's about smart shopping. there is this book called the "7 money mantras" I reccommend it to anyone it is reader friendly common sense kind of guide.

I just got a few of his songs and they're pretty good. I still am not sure why you would list that :wipe: as your location, but perhaps I really shouldn't ask! I probably don't want to know!
