"The Financial Action Task Force has formally discontinued its monitoring of the Bahamas' Financial Services Sector.

Attorney General Alfred Sears announced at a press conference at his office on Friday that the Paris-based body made the decision to stop monitoring The Bahmas duing its two-day Plenary" - The Nassau Guardian

It was bad enough that they had put us on their "blacklist", but finally we can resume business as normal without someone "peeking over our shoulders" as well. It's quite hypocritical that larger, more powerful nations often are not held to the same standards and it simply appears to be a case of the larger countries dictating a "do as we say, not as we do" policy - Especially when little nations like ours are doing a darn good job of being their competition.
