I have the greatest respect & admiration for our Governor General Ivy Dumont & all those that preceded her, but I can't help myself but think of the cost to taxpayers in retirement benefits! I sure someone out there know the exact burden to taxpayers to cover the benefits to formers governor generals, former pm, and former members of parliments who have all serve our country. But at what cost to taxpayers? The last time I made a count we had 5 retired governor generals!
