So the cops were out or ARE out tonight on east bay, right there before Dominos Pizza.

Cant quite tell what cops they are as they are wearing dark uniforms, but they stopped me for not having my licence displayed (i dont drive the jeep much now, never stuck it back up from when i got it licenced), actually accidentally peeled out on the corner where they were, dont they know what a 4.0 means???!. Asked me when it was licenced, i said a couple weeks ago didnt have a chance yet to stick it up as they had nothing there, thats the truth BTW, except the time line, anyway she was like you could have told me 2 days, not 2 weeks, I was like, I just wanted to be honest (well to some degree!)

Anyway, so they are out there tonight, will they be out there tomorrow, will they be on your street, or mine? Doubt it .. I told them straight up, that this is useless, they need to come down on Eastern Road, and other roads I mentioned, where accidents happen all the time from drunk driving, one in particular a driver took out 50' of my wall and paid the cops off so there was never a file to be found, well that didnt go down well, I should make a report on it, on what?? It never happened!! Neither did the other couple accients that wrecked my wall!! At least according to the road traffic! LOL

I almost got into the other 20 odd accidents that either never happened since no reports ever existed, noone ever turned up, or never cleaned them up leaving vehicle or wall parts in the road, but i got let off at that point, so it stopped there ..:p

My bad, the licence thing, i put it on right there, had the sticker in the glove. I didnt realise the fine for that was so high ($250), then again i dont think im the criminal type they are looking for on Sunday night .. i asked cant they tell me from the licence plate darnit!? he he//

And some stats - since 2001, ive been gone through some only 20 road blocks in Nassau, been stopped 3 times, twice i talked my way out of a speeding ticket, and once got a ticket, otherwise the vehicle has always had the right stuff working.

What gets me is people that dont use signals or run red lights where they could have stopped, they NEED to be booked, and licences retracted, but no, that just doesnt happen here. :what:

Should i have mentioned what a "joke" road traffic is in Nassau?? Nahhh ... they are doing something tonight so maybe this is a change, though I dont think this is road traffic??

Anyway, what a day, so some tree trimmers from Min of works earlier on this afternoon, were out there cutting back trees from government lines, and they cut my cable. I waited 2 hours, after cussing them out a few times, threaten suing (spellcheck?), and well, anyway, cable bahamas said they couldnt have someone come until Thursday! Plus my cell died while talking to them, total comunication lock out ...

Anyway, found out the cut was not close to the pole just in the "middle of the road" so my desperate internet arse went in the trucks bucket and spliced the coax myself :p Was pretty heart renching with all those vehicles driving underneath me ... Hmmmmmm . plus the near miss to the high voltage lines ... well i was desperate .. what can i say .. no TV or Internet until Thursday?? No way hosey!! What got me, they were out on a Sunday cutting tree lims arounf high voltage or whatever cables could be there, but noone to fix the lines from Cable or Batelco, just in case?? Ohh well .. Glad I have the tools to mess with RG6 coax ... spliced alot of that in the past ,...

I bet if you threw a notch filter inline and knocked out cable modems to half of Eastern Road they would show up in a hurry.
