will2274 11-15-05, - 05:29 PM Are you sure it isn't reversed, or are you who more than likely recieved your initial education under the PLP consider yourself ignorant. Also why do you believe that every one who voted PLP is ignorant & every one who voted FNM intelligent.I know, maybe you are letting YOUR partisanship blind YOU & you didn't truly read & understand what he posted. :board2:
Oh Marichal, I challenge You, and everyone else who care to see an amusing revelation to investigate(ask them a few INTELLIGENT questions) the character, behaviour and education level of MOST persons who support the PLP, and then those who support the FNM, and tell me if you don't see EXACT OPPOSITES- especially in the category of education!

So why is it if you check the pedigree of most FNM's you will see that they were former PLP's.Or are you are sayin that they were so smart that they left to form the FNM. Although no one likes to say it, the background of the FNM is a white & elitist group. So maybe that's why it may seem that they are more educated. But in fact if you look at the candiates for both parties I will dare say the PLP will come out on top in terms of qualifications. That being said I still say you're silly to call anyone who votes PLP ignorant.
its silly to vote for either of them :D
RockWell 11-15-05, - 08:58 PM its silly to vote for either of them :D
Yup Yup!
Jessup 11-15-05, - 10:20 PM Man the FNM is having their breakfast fed to the dogs.....
Didja catch V. Peet's stats on the record of FNM Immigration Ministers (6 in 9 years) and still fewer repatriations during that time than the PLP government's success in just over 3 years.
(FNM) Rhetoric is nothing....check the facts and stats....

Don't be too fooled by stats, maybe they had fewer repatriations because fewer illegals came. and speaking further on their stats, ya see you gatta listen carefully(cause they think they talking to people without brains), when Min. Gray said that during the FNM time there were only 250 registered farmers and now theire are two thousand- he did not say that there are now 2000 farms! Thats whats important! Due to the farm OWNERS now having to pay Nat. Insurance for their workers, they can now count 2000 of them. The Amount of farms remained the Same! NO PROGRESS!
And Peet shouldn't brag about how much industrial agreements he has negociated, all that means is that they had PLENTY disgruntled workers since the PLP came back into office. EVERYONE WAS HAPPY WHEN THE FNM WAS IN POWER so there weren't that much industrial unrest to negociate!
DON'T FALL FOR THEIR TRICKY PLAY ON WORDS PEOPLE.

OH NO U DIDNT.
you know how long i wanted to slip that in here but i didnt wanna start nuttin. I can honestly say i have observed followers from both groups and concluded the majority of one groups followers need to check their bulbs.
that would be a good statistical study. not whose smarted but the average background of voters each party ie education, family background, how many kids they have, average age of a parties voters etc.
BTW- M i must say you took that comment well. u gettin calm in ur old age?
yeah well that was harsh, noone is smarter just because they are FNM or PLP, heck the parties are basically the same really, FNMs are just ex PLPs??
Regardless, everyone knows the FNM is going to win the next election since the current PLP failed the bahamas, and there is noone ELSE to vote for (??). Kind of like the US's last election ... the FNm just need to get their sh*t straight now .. so who is the leader of the FNM now???
