I do believe it was A.F. Adderley High School where a student recently got stabbed.
If these kids are this violent now, we have a huge surprise coming when they get out of school.
Alas, the warning signs in this country are very clear. Rory, your security business will continue making money for a long time. You can start putting CCTV in the schools - they definitely need it.
Government, no thanks, they do business (currently) with only those that pay them off, i stay clear and far away from the Bahamas government, they are too corupt (not political parties). I could even name names of companies that told me this and are currently or past doing business with them, so I can back my allegations up. Meanwhile I have already taken my main business to the US, though im also going to help us get some good deals here locally - end users only, no businesses, or select businesses, but it is mostly for those that need assistance, in other words "Esso" is not on my list for help, but I do have some high end products for companies like them.

Good plan - I'm in the process of doing the same thing.
It definitely is more convenient to straddle the US and Bahamian markets than to deal exclusively with the local one. Keeps your skill level up too.
Yep, i just got tired of trying to compete with either illegal foreignors with "duty free" products, or locals selling OEM products at pro prices.
So ive gone above all that, selling OEM or PRO products, at US wholesale prices. Basically I teamed up with a US company I tech for and buy from, on an independant basis. Most of what I do right now for them is customise Video Software, in the middle of a 64 way 64 site remote video software, for a US nationwide tanning salon, for example. But the main thing we are working on right now, is low cost systems which i specked out, for end users here.
Things should start happening in the next couple weeks, with ads in the news papers as well, also includes an online store I wrote, and also, we will take CC for parts AND labour.
