It is a matter of public record that the Hon Tommy Turnquest was the official leader of the FNM during the election of 2002. He was elected as such during an election that was stage at workers house in sept 2001. You would recall, as a result of said election Mr Algernon Allen and Mr Tennyson Wells were defeated and then cried sour grapes. As they would say the rest is history. Mr Hubert Ingraham remain as Prime Minister the remaining months leading up to the election. But for all intent and purpose Tommy Turnquest historically and as leader of the FNM had stand to gain if the FNM had won, and must assume the defeat having lost the election as leader of the FNM. That is the facts. I have no axe to grind with Hon Tommy Turnquest or The Right Honorable Hubert Ingraham.I am merely stating the facts. Plain and simple!

What you said is completely untrue. There is no title of leader designate in the FNM party's constitution. I f Tommy T was truly the leader in 2002 the the Governer General by law would have to sware him in as the Prime Minister. The leader of the majority party by law is sworn in as the PM. Because this happened before May 2nd 2002. The FNM still had 35 seats and was still the majority.

If Tommy was to legal leader of the FNM at that time, then Mr. Ingraham had to resign as Prime Minister and allow Tommy to be sworn in as the nations third PrimeMinister

The Bahamas was blacklisted for the fact that we were a tax haven, and you must remeber that the democrats were in office, (i dont think nobody pays attention to this)

Bill Clinton was in office, and the black list of these countries were to capture wealthy Americans that were guilty of tax evasion. If things had turn out diffrent and Al Gore had won Florida the other countries in the reigon would have still be on a black list or would have made the steps we made.
