Tafadhali 11-14-05, - 06:51 PM What if Mr. Allen's plan backfires he will look lke a traitor. You cant take anyone serious these days. they have no self respect switching parties the way they do. why don;t they get rid of perry and have fred mitchell run as leader with bj as dpm that would be smart. Lord knows I couldn't deal with another term of the PM on board.

interesting....
I wonder how the Bahamian public would receive that...
To me it seems as tit for tat...like copying the same chess move the FNM done...doesn't seem like an original concept...
In what consituency would Allen run?

Why would he look like a traitor when he entered POLITRICKS as a PLP?

Holy Cross, cause Sidney Stubb's frontline politcal days are numbered. He's a piece of the "deadwood" that Christie is gonna chop off.

His brother Kendal spoke at the prayer breakfast the PLP had yesteday, so you know that BJ is not far behind.
Wonder if (and how) he was able to appease his wife? She was one of the primary reasons why he said that he would never go back to the PLP.
We'll see. The BJ situation is similar to Ingraham's return. You know that it's gonna happen, but you still have that bit of a doubt whether they can pull it off.
Looks like both political parties are pulling up their socks and making an early dash toward the election finish line. No room for mistakes now!!!

Just common sense.
With Ingraham back as FNM leader, Stubbs would be the first that the PLP would have to get rid of. With the BAIC, Korean Boat, and bankruptcy scandals looming over his political career, Stubbs would be nothing but a liability.
"Pitbull" Ingraham would use Stubbs as a good appetizer to whet his appetite for the PLP. They can't afford that.

That's another reason (his wife and his actual position in the PLP are others) why I'm sorta tossed on whether he's actually gonna join the PLP. I would hope that he isn't going to desert his own party, but the rumours on the street are flying thick like mosquitoes in Andros.
He would be a valuable asset to the PLP. Some sort of merger could be in the works, maybe? I need more info.
Plus, he's not getting any younger.

Well as far as I know this isn't so. But as they say in POLITRICKS trust nobody. It would be a shock & a disappointment doe.
canewry 11-14-05, - 11:25 PM Has anyone notice how religious the PLP convention is? Its so churchy? What are they trying to portray?
