I guess the good Doctor realized that if you are not PLP or FNM you have no chance to make it in politics. I don't like that, but dem is da facts! :screw:

pharoah 11-18-05, - 08:57 AM Dr Nottage return must make uncle Fred mad as hell. There goe's his chance of being PLP leader and eventually Prime Minister. Poor fred!
dipps 11-18-05, - 08:57 AM The fnm regime is the left over of the Bath Party Iraq. :hot:

Also, he may want to be PM soon and I think he's already 50. Staying in the CD, he could well be 60 or more before becoming the PM. Who wants that kind of stress at that age!?
Come to think of it, after the coming general election, any deputy PM could possibly become PM kinda soon cause both PLP and FNM leaders have health issues!
I gat a feeling that this election might result in a split, that is, equal number of seats for both FNM and PLP like what happened in 1967! Man, you will see some action, excitement and good governance kickin' up 'roun here for a change!!!

Screw Fred! How do you think the people that backed him feel?

My feelings exactly....what about all those people who supported the CDR...the persons who spent their money and ran for seats...the people who campainged...the people who believed in that party and what it seemed to stand for.
:titongue: Talk about going back to vomit! :titongue: It seems he will inherit the leadership of the PLP after all..he is following in the footsteps of Perry!:titongue:

He came to the realisation that the CDR didn't have a chance. Here it is, he's 60 years old, has no seat in the house - he nor his party - and he is not in the Senate. What is the man to do? He wants to contribute and I think that he should - in whichever party he chose.

It's Baath, not Bath. :dunce:

So HAI leaving the PM position, remaining a FNM MP, going back to campain for FNM PM = bad
Nottage leaving the PLP, starting own party, abandoning that party to return to the PLP = good? How could be be trusted within the PLP? Even Dipps has got to have a problem with that!
