I think this is just gross and utterly ridiculous! Completely un-called for! To me YorickBrown is one of the best commentators on this board. He gives knowledgable, wise and balanced views in all of his postings.

Seems to me that this thread is inspiring some constructive debate. Just remember that each person hes the right to their position and no matter how you feel about that position they should be respected.

The issue of illegal immigration is, I think, the most difficult and pressing one facing The Bahamas today. It won't be solved overnight and may never be solved. As concerned stake holders it is our right and responsibility to voice our thoughts. Every idea expressed here should be given due consideration, don't put down each others contribution. Since I am not in the house and I don't think anyone else who has posted here is either, this is where I can make recommendations and so can all of you. Don't bully each other and don't allow yourself to be bullied, speak your mind. No politician seems to have the answers to this problem and I think we will be disappointed if we wait for an actual solution to come out of the house. If we all keep plugging away, I am sure that some politician will come along trolling and steal the best ideas which are put forward.

Maybe someone should put a notation on the best ideas so that they will know which ones they are. :)

it occurred to me the other day that someone may have purposely set the houses on fire. think about it. how convinient would it be to have the houses vanish after a mysterious blaze. so what was the fire departments report on it??? so far no investigation is even in the works.:what: :shhh:

At the end of the day we all have to live together, no matter where we live. I get as fed up with comments that I consider stupid as anyone, but I don't get as worked up about it anymore. And my daughter is 13, so I know the way they interact is nothing like anything on this forum.
