Let me explain to you why I said it ok.I agreed with some of his posts but he's very defensive to others opinions or havn't you read them all.When I replied with good argument he took my words out of context and used them as he saw fit.I just don't appreciate my words being switched to make a point that was already understood!Some people just don't get it when you try to make peace:cheers: ::taped2:

Well dear, what can I say! I believe I have an idea what you mean, although I never really noticed it during your discussions with Yorick. I agreed with the majority of what he said in the gazillion threads and postings re the illegal immigrants!

For a long time now I noticed that some members would insult others when they can't see eye to eye on a point. This would make me feel very bad, because I don't see how it could help the discussion.

It could be that the best of us could become passionate on a subject and get carried away to the extent that our objectivity is compromised briefly. If you are correct, I am wondering if this could have occurred in Yorrick's posting!?

I am also wondering that maybe if you had calmly told him about it a few times, would that have brought peace and a meeting of the minds?

I recall someone doing something very similar to one of my post long ago but I didn't bother to tell them about it because I was too busy at the time, but it made me feel pretty bad!

By the way, it's not uncharacteristic of some of the heated discussions that we have had previously on this forum. If anyone should have been upset about the previous comments, it would have been Moon Angel, but she wasn't insulted, stuck to it and made her point in later arguments. Simple.
