It matters to me because I am black and I am a PLP and I feel that they have betrayed the principles they once stood for. I want to be able to feel comfortable voting for my own party!!!:hot:

the only thing right now that gives any bahamian an advantage, is who they know ... black or white, doesnt mean nothing unless you know someone .. i work 20 hours a day and sometimes 2 days with no sleep AT ALL ... i aint getting nowhere here cause i dont really know anyone .. hence im moving my business to the global market. .. where it is WHAT YOU KNOW and not who you know ..

Unfortunately, skin colour still opens door in The Bahamas (both ways). I'd like to think that things are changing. Since these two conventions. I'm not so sure.:confused:

yeah whatever .. i pay $200 a month rent .. and i cant afford that. believe what you want, some people in the bahamas just will never get past the thinking that every white bahamian comes from money. go down to long island and ill show you the broken down shack in the bush and the outhouse we used to use .. ive been borrowing money to eat for the past couple months - but its all going to change this week coming.

ps: I never said THIS PLP was the party for the people. Although they are trying harder than the FNM did.MY personal belief is we havn't had a statesman in this country from the days of LO,Milo,Stevenson & the likes.
