You right bout all of that. i was just using Katrina because it has become a metaphor of the larger black/white issue in the US (I'm not implying that anyone suffered more or less). There was an appaling bias in the media surrounding the coverage of the suffering after the storm - Man I don't want to get into this now. I saved some of the news reports. I'll send some to you if you want (I don't know how to upload a file to the bb). Just pointing out that racism is alive and well both here and in US.
