You are right! However a message board my be a better way to conduct a poll because deleting cookies will have no affect on whats posted on a message board. On the other hand this website must attract a broad cross-section of Bahamians in order to have a reliable survey!!

To tell you the truth, I don't like Bud:shhh: I was thinking of beer in general and most particularly Kalik - our home grown brew that is cheaper to buy in New England that it is here!!! :jawdroop:

I don't think it's the exact same? Kalik in the US isn't as good as Kalik in the Bahamas. Ironically supporting the 'It's Better In The Bahamas' motto! Gold can't be found anywhere to the best of my knowledge. Anyone know if the US consumed Kalik is brewed in Nassau or is it licensed to a stateside brewer? When I'm in Miami, I get Bass as it seems to be the closest in flavor to Gold.

It is the same, as far as my understanding goes, it is exported - no doubt it does not "travel well" that accounts for the taste. :cheers:

just like bud here doesnt taste as good as Bud in the US .. sometimes the bud here is 3-6 months old ... Arghhhh ..

Honestly, if it were me I would push to increase import duty on Bud and all foreign beer. It would create more revenue for the govt. and at the same time push more persons to consuming Kalik. We have a Bahamian beer that is good quality, so why not help promote it?
