Easy, now. I am not too keen on politicians, Period. But trying to look at the situation as to how Bahamian politicians behave, I believe what Mr Nottage did was best for his political life, especially if he'd like to become PM one day. He is not gettting any younger and most of our major politicians have been in more than one political party. The PLP can always give him a "safe" seat.

In my opinion, he, like many others in parliament, knows just what should be done to take this country to a higher level! Initiatives like changing the model and structure of the govertment, etc, etc, etc. The questioin is, will he do it? Or will he simply mark time like the others before him and maintain the status quo?

Well, what about all that ruckus and praise they gave him just before he spoke at the convention!!! Was that like all sizzle and no steak!? I mean there was almost as much noise and carrying on before Nottage spoke as there was before Ingraham spoke.

That's why I figure he could possibly go from DPM to PM one day and have the clout to make major changes in governance.
