Well, I don't mind admitting that I am the one who voted "just terrible". Try living here in Andros with what Cable has to offer. Our networks come out of Denver! Really useful that when it comes to the weather and news! Plus everything comes on 2 hours late. Then we have a really bad line-up of other channels and no possibility of purchasing any packages. We used to have TLC, Discovery, History, A&E as part of our package these have all disappeared and not been replaced. So what started out as 40 channels has now diminished to 31.
Whenever there is a power cut, when the current comes back on, cable is still off as we have to wait for the technician to drive 40+ miles to turn it back on. I won't even discuss the billing problems that we have.

Yes Rory,:) that's what we use to keep our sanity, only have cable for the kids.

Cable Bahamas is TERRIBLE. We call on Monday for them to fix our internet. Yes I do know they are probably much busier with other people's problems especially with the holidays around, BUT they ended up coming on Friday..at 3 when they were supposed to come at 1 and it only took them FIVE MINUTES to fix our internet. We were supposed to go Christmas shopping that day and plus one of the guys was using our phone to call is girlfriend talking about foolishness.

Yes, I can fully agree. To Cable Bahamas' credit, it has all of the Bahamian radion stations except for Radio Abaco. I hope they solve this soon. Do you know that Eleuthera also has a radion station. Sure we are moving on up.

Only one thing I hate it that late $5.00 fee. Is there something the customers can do about this overbearing fee.

When they put BET back on the airwaves, instead of a BET knock off...
When they stop showing unatractive garbage like vh1 and mtv crap shows..
When they quite making decent honest people pay 35 bucks for ten "watchable" channels
When they have a broad variety of television chanells and not basically the same thing on all channels

I will vote them as a good cable provider...
Cant wait til they get some compettition from BTC...

Well I have Oceans and its pretty cool. More stations and tons of music. We also got the NBA League Pass, and thats nice if you are a basketball fan or have basketball fans in your home.

I voted average because there is nothing especial about the services, although I find is very good. I have been using it for 6 months only so I guess Im not to have an opinion as to how it used to be before.

Cable Bahamas is terrible, i am ashamed to have them as my Cable providor for internet and TV. I get latencys/pings of 400 when i play an online game and im supposed to get 3MB download speed, im lucky if i get 1MB, im supposed to get 712 up...im lucky if i get 300. I cant take it anymore the service is just piss poor and this problem has been going on for MONTHS. I call to know what the heck is wrong and they say a technician will call me back....the day he does ill throw a party. The second someone else comes around which is better im leaving Cable Bahamas even if they fix it which they probly wont..and also if the government allows it which they probly wont. This problem seemed to come around when they switched to digital. Alot of you may not of understood what i said because you may not be familliar with computers, etc which i am so dont feel bad if you dont know about it.
