Overall its good now. Only one little thing ... when I call technical support, i want to speak to a technician :p

Also, if my line gets cut by Ministry of Works on a Sunday, instead of having to wait until Thursday to get it fixes, id like to be able to pay extra to get it done asap, then I can always bill Ministry of works :-)

As for TV, id rather less of all those network stations, etc, maybe a package just with things like TNT, USA, TBS, and HBO .. and a couple news stations .. what happened to comedy central? Too many unused stations .. even spanish stations on there now ..?

I've voted average. Actually I feel that the service it good, however, I question some of the channels in the basic package. As mentioned before, and I agree, there are too many unused or unpopular channels in my opinion. Especially guys like me who love sports, I feel that there should be at least one legitimate sports channel in the basic channel.....like the ENGLISH version of EPSN.


I know we're a multi-national country, but that ESPN international channel has gat to go! I never understood that.

Also, why did BET get moved to the *paid-channel* area. What? It was influencing too many of our youths, LMAO! Well, has the youths gotten any better??..................

While I like having the SciFi channel and Discovery on Basic I remember that they took BET off basic but now they have MTV on. WTF? If 'black' American culture was too stimulating for the 'little darlings' what do you think 'rock' American culture will do?:raw:

It's just another poor excuse for these low-life parents to blame someone else but themselves for the failure of their children! I remember the whole BET thing started to go down hill after it was mentioned on a afternoon radio talk show, after that, Cable Bahamas was placed in a precarious position, and bent under pressure, what a shame!

What about the channel that brings on Will and Grace??? Hmmmm, never heard anyone lobbing for the removal of that channel or any other channel that endorses homosexual sitcoms or leud behavior. I guess they see nothing wrong with that!

And yet BET is the *immoral* channel. I guess they never watch BET on Sundays. Hell, if you watch MBC at the right time, yo'll see some of these same BET videos showing up on that channel.

I like Cable Bahamas, so I gave them the top rating. Most times I have had a problem for which they couldn't walk me through the remedy over the phone, they would schedule a date about 3 or 4 days away to come and fix it. That's a long time but they have never charged me for any repairs yet over the years!

Some have complained about the removal of BET from Super Basic, but to each his own. To me BET was like a mixture of Heaven and Hell: they aired many Christian programs which I liked, but I think their comedies (at least the ones I viewed) were atrocious. I saw a couple of them one night for the first and last time -- some of the most repulsive jokes I have ever seen! :angel:

May as well continue bringing people like 50 cents back rather than have the "little darlings" infiltrate their minds with that type of "entertainment".

Limiting the viewing of BET is definitely not the total answer, just a good start -- there are a great multitude of other improvements which should be
made!

That's why when Cable Bahamas took it off the Basic programming, I was totally lost. Maybe BET reminded us too much of ourselves!

huh...I don't watch TV...they changed the channels? Guess I will have to ask the wife if she is having a problem

Well, I don't mind admitting that I am the one who voted "just terrible". Try living here in Andros with what Cable has to offer. Our networks come out of Denver! Really useful that when it comes to the weather and news! Plus everything comes on 2 hours late. Then we have a really bad line-up of other channels and no possibility of purchasing any packages. We used to have TLC, Discovery, History, A&E as part of our package these have all disappeared and not been replaced. So what started out as 40 channels has now diminished to 31.

Whenever there is a power cut, when the current comes back on, cable is still off as we have to wait for the technician to drive 40+ miles to turn it back on. I won't even discuss the billing problems that we have.
