It would be so funny, if someone on this forum, say (for example) me was a real politician in disguise. Or what would be more funny, if parties made up users on B.I.com and then made up some elaborate scheme to bad mouth the other party , or big up one party. Or if, I was actually Clint, and had nothing else to do but have a split personality, on the forum.

Its possible that a little of this is in place now!

Licks2, be aware that Stewart had some extensive "training" from the late great Sir Lynden! A year or so ago on a talk show he talked at length about the long interviews he had with Sir Lynden, not too long before Sir Lynden passed on.

Maybe he's putting some of that training into practice: Sir Lynden threw the mace outta the house long ago. Not too long ago, Cassius glued himself and his partner TO the mace!

I could almost hear the Hmmmmmmmm.......

Always.
Delroy. You have titles for "registered user", "senior user", "Kingdom Worker" as well as others like "BDM" for Mr. Stuart. Can someone search the user list for those titles. How many BDM members are there online? Are there similar PLP and FNM ones?
While I got you on the line...
Any chance of adding the posting date to each post so we know if it is a few days or even months old?

There are many politicians who are members of this forum. Some of them wished to remain anonymous and others did not. Just search the member list and you can see the ones that are not.

Those titles can be added to any account by request but titles are not searchable. Posting dates are shown above every post in the forum.

I'm not talking to anyone in particular. I just don't want this topic to get infected.

I had questioned earlier whether any politicians monitor this site for public opinion and reaction to todays political climate.
don't worry they read the post on the site. A number of them are under pseudonyms. They lurk reading our comments using us as guinneapigs in order to feel the pulses of the nation...

If you read Mr. Stuarts piece carefully, you can hear, some of Yoricks, CG, Marchael and my God even Tia's words in it...

Dey does be reading photocopying ideas in order to write speeches....So to them I say 'carry on smartly!' ...lol...Using Marchael words....

You gave the rules of participation...stick to them!:shaky:

People that are up for public offices make themselves public game! So if they cannot be raked over the coal here in this public forum...then where?

My personal reflections on the BAIC scandal
Here is a brief submission from myself in regards to the actions of Sidney Stubbs in the whole mess. Mr. E. Watkins a retired old man is been is paid over $70,000.00 a year for nothing he has no scientific, educational background in the area. And young Bahamians are denied opportunities because of him. He should be ashamed of himself.
Tori A. Ferguson a young Bahamian professional who was at BAIC was officially being dismissed as General Manager of the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC). According to a well-placed source at that bewildered corporation, Mr. Benjamin Rahming, “consultant” is the man now in charge of BAIC.
You will no doubt recall that one of his first acts as Executive Chairman of the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation, Sidney Stubbs (the now bankrupt former PLP MP for Holy Cross) victimised seven persons at the Corporation whom he considered members or supporters of the Free National Movement. The Corporation's General Manager, Mr. Geoffrey Stuart, was amongst that number, and Mr. Ferguson became General Manager.
Shortly after Mr. Ferguson become General Manager a litany of allegations were levied against Executives of BAIC: the Korean Boat Scandal; the $51, 000.00 to China and the far east by Sidney Stubbs, Godfrey Eneas and his wife Sandra, and Earlin Williams; the misuse of BAIC Corporate Credit Card by Executives by BAIC; the political influencing peddling by PLP Senator Philip Galanis; the victimisation of FNM supporters by Sidney Stubbs and Godfrey Eneas; and not least among the scandals is the charge by South Andros Independent MP Whitney Bastian that "Irregular carnal lust and delights" were eating up public funds at BAIC.
Months ago, this column reported that the Commercial Crime Department of the Royal Bahamas Police Force has been summoned at that institution and was investigating some $300,000.00 that allegedly went "south of the border"
Sources say that an external audit by Deloitte and Touché on the books of BAIC has discovered that more than one quarter of a million dollars is unaccounted for. The audit is for the almost eighteen months that disgraced and bankrupt former PLP Holy Cross Member of Parliament, Sidney McArthur Stubbs served as Executive Chairman of the Corporation.
The opposition and independent Members of Parliament must raise questions pertaining to BAIC in the House of Assembly, and PM Christie promised faithfully that once the external audit was completed, he would apprise the Bahamian people of the findings. To date we have not heard boo from Mr. Christie. What the hell is he waiting on?
The role of the Opposition and the role of the media in a democracy cannot be overstated. The Free National Movement will continue to raise these issues, but there need to be “follow-ups” from the electronic or print media which is crucial for the full story to be told. There needs to be ongoing analysis, independent or otherwise and there also need to be more investigative journalism in this country by the mainstream media, The Punch and The Source should not be taking the lead in this regards.

Finally, I personally, had hopes for Mr Ferguson. In my mind he was a bright and upcoming professional, but was being used to advance the wicked actions of his political masters, (Perry Christie and Leslie Miller) who is using BAIC a public corporation in a criminal way by terminating the services of Bahamians for no other reason then political victimisation.

An Open Letter to Mr. Keod Smith from his Haitian Cousin correcting the record.
Thursday, November 24, 2005

Mr. Keod Smith, MP

“You are not who you say that you are”.

My previous name was Limens Louis, I am now John Lewis. I am Haitian and so are you. We are of one family.

I understand completely how you feel now that you have been found out to have your ancestors changed your name to hide that fact that you are of Haitian heritage.

Please stand up for yourself so that I can be proud to be Haitian as well. What are you afraid of? I know your great grand mother and she came here on the same boat as me. Your great grand mother and I are brothers and sisters. It was a hard journey and now you have arrived.

You and I are distant relatives.

You have plenty family in the Bahamas now. I do not think that any live in Mt. Moriah, but we can help you campaign in Creole.

But your past is now coming back to hunt you. Be careful, Haitians would stand behind you.

Next time the house meets bring your birth certificate, cause I am going to give the original documents of my family to Mr. Ingraham soon.

John Lewis

RE: Mr. Pierre V. L. Dupuch, MP

As an Free National Movement Supporter I was too surprise that you resigned from the FNM party to which you were not associated with for at least the last four years. However, since you needed to express yourself at the expense of the Rt. Honourable Hubert A. Ingraham, so be it.

Your disappointment in the overwhelming support that Mr. Ingraham got at the FNM Convention last week serves to show the wider Bahamian community that you just hate the fact that a black man fired you. I certainly can see why it is that you would go to your grave hating Hubert A. Ingraham. I will pray for you now and at the hour of your death.

By officially resigning from the party you are fulfilling Mr. Ingraham’s orders that all trouble makes leave the party. You have been just one couch potato troublemaker and FNMs who voted for you in last election simply regret it. Let me at this time inform you that since the return of Mr. Ingraham, FNMs are now fully energized and eager to set our party aright and to eventually become the government of the Bahamas.

You put yourself as an achiever yet I see no evidence of any achievement solely for the fact that you have ridden on your family’s fortune all of your life. You do not even have a constituency office. I wonder if you receive the funds each month to have one. For the short period you had one I was so disappointed that you used your family’s office to operate from.

As a longtime faithful supporter of the Free National Movement and as a supporter who prayed and worked so hard for the return of Mr. Ingraham, I accept your resignation. So good luck and good ridding.

LONG LIVE HUBERT A. INGRAHAM AND LONG LIVE THE FREE NATIONAL MOVEMENT.

The Bad news is....
The Bahamas is only going to get worse under the PLP-
Lack of Vision, lack of Leadership, lots of Corruption, Crime, despair, no hope and the list goes on and on...
Every day we in The Bahamas pay more dollars in taxes then what we get back in services. Dollars that could fix our transportation dilemmas, (roads, airports and much more). Build much need affordable housing. Provide jobs and hope for our thousands of young people, thus making our country a place to be proud of.
Instead of building for the future, we are falling further behind.
Bahamians are tired of hearing Perry Christie empty promises, his bandage solutions. We must tell Perry and the PLP that enough is enough.
We must take action. We need real solutions.
The good news ….
We have the right to stand up, we have the right to get angry, we have the right to protest against this lazy unconcern government. We must band together. WE MUST DO IT NOW.
As Bahamians we need real solutions, enough of not enough.
After that I got a few die hard PLP’s wrote to me saying I was unfair and was not will to give the PLP a chance.
Well lots of time has passed and now we have more changes and allegations of corrections.
Hubert Ingraham is back, God is answering the Bahamian people cry.
Lord save your people from this evil PLP government.
