By far, the cheapest and easiest way to do that is through the internet. Lo and behold, here it is ready made with 2000+ members and more joining everyday!

Your correct it is the easiest way.
Actually the latest stats were 4,227+.

I gotta ask, but Are we the only country in the Western Hemisphere that do not have televised debates by Party/ Government leaders; or even candidates of specific areas. Some forum where questions covering all aspects and sectors of the specific area or the greater society? I think its amazing that we allow much rhetoric that is quoted by these MP's during their conventions. A great sence of accountability to me would be to put that person/ people on TV and let them intellectually debate issues with clear and concise facts and action plans. I ein know, It makes sence to me!

No we are not the only country that do not televise debates...I can site most of the Caribbean countries, and South American countries...who that leaves...ummmp...
the US. and Canada...
the question should be why they always trying to be different!!!
lol

Wow! That's a doubling of membership in a year. I remember that you hit 2000 shortly after I joined in Oct '04. Congrats.

Any plans to open an Election'07 forum? In concept, I'm thinking of taking the PLP Plan and breaking it down to it's essential elements where we can compare what they said they would do vs. what they have done and a place to compare the new plans presented by whatever parties are still alive to produce them. Each element of the plan would be subject to the members opinions, even Mr. Stewart's if he decides to chime in!

This site, despite the heavy allegiances to both major parties can act as a 'sanitizer' where we can cut out the political spin and get down to the real meat of the issues. By the time the elections are held the Bahamas may have the most educated voters of it's history in terms of what each party really means to the future, all thanks to BahamasIssues. Also a good way to do a real time report card on how the 2007 to 2012 government is stacking up against their promises!

I know you're busy with the upgrades, but PM me if you're interested in discussing further.

You haven't been mean to me, but perhaps you can give me an excerpt via PM? I don't think it really fits into the Convention topic right now, unless they're really political poems!
