12play 01-14-06, - 10:14 AM Ingraham said at their rally at Regatta Park last night that the new PLP is just as crooked and corrupt as the PLP voted out in 1992, but not nearly as effective ( I infered that he meant actually getting things done). He said that they are very good at throwing partys, socialising and whispering sweet nothings. It was ironic to hear Mr. Ingraham make thsese statements, because as he himself pointed out, both he and Mr. Christie were fired from the Pindling government for speaking out against corruption in 1984. Has Mr. Christie changed, or are Mr. Ingrahams remarks untrue?

Well, Christie has not changed, Ingraham's remarks are true. You have to keep in mind, Christie returned to the Old PLP. The old PLP now calls themselves the NEW PLP, but nothing has changed with the old/new PLP. It is still the PLP. The problem is the players of the PLP, they are all back, and then are the controlling forces. You just watch it. Go to a PLP function and you will see that all the players are right there wheeling and dealing their crooked ways.

LOL - I think you should direct your question to the PLP, the OLD PLP/NEW PLP, but yet their ways and the PLAYERS REMAIN the same. Maybe that may be a little much for you ??.
Take a break study the situation then, eventually it MAY come to you, you will get it after a while.
I do hope so, ...I really do..., Confusion is in the heart and not the head.

12play 01-14-06, - 04:09 PM Well, Christie has not changed, Ingraham's remarks are true..
Since the elections of May, 2002, I have not heard a single person allege that Mr. Christie is personally corrupt. Since he has not changed we have to assume that he abhores such practices. Why then, since he is in charge and sets the tone, would he tolerate corruption and foolishness in his government?

I do; remember that newspaper in England.
He (The PM) sued and won.

Cause he's a puppet and cant do anything about it. The coruption is too deep, its beyond his administration, it is in the government companies themselves, the one that never changes from one party to the next.

I think this shows your true colours - someone supported a party and "didn't get straight"? So it's safe to say that you are getting straight right now? What's that mean you're a lazy SOB that waits around for someone to "straighten you out" because you can't earn a living on your own?
Your better stake sounds more like taking a piece of the "steak" / bahamas for yourself while you can because if things change you won't be able to.

Stubbs was bankrupt and he didn't enforce the law that states if an MP is bankrupt then he is out
All the money for local gov't for Alfred Grey's constituency was "lost" when his ministry was repsonsible for local gov't? They send two police officers to investigate? Maybe gray wasn't party to this because it was such a small amount of money but I never heard what happened to resolve this.
Christie might not be personally corrupt but he has surronded himself with some pretty corrupt people.
Who gave woods back the job at Bahamasair? Wasn't it already decided that he was "corrupt"?
