The arrest of Beverly was to try and water down or justify Cindy's arrest. Cindy walked in wearing a jacket. The second she exposed her shirt she was arrested. Beverly was escorted to her seat by officials in her support the troops shirt (not pro war- it was support the troops). She sat for hours until bush was speaking. When they realized that it was Cindy they arrested and no regular protestor they had to do something to save face. So they decided to escort Beverly from the building (hours later) so they would seem impartial.

what this all is about to me is tolerance and respect- when people are doing wrong and they have power they will try to suppress you in anyway they can. We could use some of this tolerance and respect in our own backyard.

The police have now said that they were totally wrong for arresting Cindy and Beverly In the house. They have apologized. Now after suing them cindy will have lots of money to buy more t shirts.
Actually they never arrested Beverly- just asked her to leave.

in texas where can carry one in plain view, and gettign arredted cause i might rob the shop?

that was not enough intent in my opinion to be arrested, besides they should have told her she would be arrested IF she refuses to zip her jacket.
