Hi, Im the wife of an expat and have been living in Freeport for 6 months now. So far I havent being able to meet people or make any friends, Im the mother of 3 kids and I thought it would be easier to meet other parents, guess I was wrong.
Anyhow, does anybody know of any playgroups or activities that involve infants and toddlers? Thanks in advance.
BTW I love this place and looove the people :)

really, dang...
I missed that....
sorry Miss.
Nevertheless, the very idea of a kid's play group is of a different social class. You may have to inquire information from them expensive private school...I am sure they have their own social network.

Well Shakita, I am not familiar with Lucaya International, as I am not familiar with Grand Bahamas as a whole. Nevertheless, enroll your kids in a soccer program. They usually have a strong social network. You will meet a lot of persons to socialize with at the games, especially if your kids are talented.

I posted this message hoping that someone from Grand Bahama Island could give me some information, thank you very much canewry.
My daughter goes to a private school and I havent been able to meet anyone there yet.
I would love to find playgroups simply because me boys are almost 3 years old and 10 months old. They need interaction and they dont attend school yet.
YMCA is the only one offering activities for small kids but they have to be 3 years old.
Thanks for your information, Ill just keep this thread here in the hope that someone who knows about playgroups or someone with small kids wants to meet and get together and so on.
Again, thanks.
