View Full Version : Gay man says cops beat him
Tafadhali 03-01-06, - 08:52 PM I can agree with that so long as the individual leaves sexual behaviour in the bedroom(ie: no gay parades, and no hetero vrs. homo orientation bias in public society)
but gay people are people too..why should you sensor them...even Clinton's dont ask dont tell policy had its issues...if i was a gay person and I wanted a parade ( exercising free speech in this democracy) who are you to censor me and tell me I cant have a parade...its the same thing like an atheist despising a christian celebration but they deal with it because they understnad the ever individuals place in a democracy! These are people's lives here you cant make it convenient for you. whot he hell are you anyway to them....
I keep telling yall if we dont stop or at least take heed we are gonna start hearing KB sings songs like "bun de sissy MP'
Tolerance and respect for people no matter you opinion should be the order of the day...there are many upstanding gays citizens in this country and yall would be shocked if you knew just who they were.

Gay parades as freedom of speech?! Puh-lease!! There is no point to the parades other than to flaunt their sexuality. There is no message to be made. True freedom of speech would have gays in public forums having frank, open and rational discussions with straights that would promote understanding from both sides. Gay parades are just stupid(as in lacking intelligence or reason/rationality), IN YER FACE! antics. In all the variety gays exist, some must resent their existance, in all its facets(their professions, family lives, their friendships, etc.) get vaporized by antics that diminish gays to being only sexual, attention needy beings. I don't like extravegent shows of Publc Displays of Affection (PDA's) by anyone: I would love to turn a fire hose on a teenage hetero couple doing a PDA.
Who am I to censure anyone? Well, democracy has been summed up as the 'Tyranny of the Majority', and since I'm part of the majoity --Heterosexuals-- I get to have a say against public displays of sexuality.

Militants are just that.People need to wear their humanity on their shirt sleeve, not their religon, politics or sexuality.
Peaches* 03-02-06, - 10:48 PM It shouldn't be a shock to hear about Police Brutality. Needless to say about Discrimination towards ones Choice of Sexuality. It Is more-so a disgrace. When is it going to stop? Does someone have to die? I don’t indulge in that lifestyle but I don’t knock anyone's ability to make a choice. When are some of us going to wake up? This is 2006. It is what it is a CHOICE. Thank You.

And GLBT are human with the right of freedom of expression. Just as chrisitans have parades and express pride in their faith, (Ash Wednesday watch for them)
What’s wrong in expressing pride in ones humanity????
Have you ever attended a GLBT event?????

Well if being gay is a choice you must have chosen not to be. All I asked was when did you make that choice not to be gay. How can you chose not to be gay if you never were?
