Wow, one link that won't open without Flash, another link that 404s, your company email is a free account at Yahoo!, and your corporate web site is hosted with a free service. What a classy professional looking operation. <g>

Is their a need for a web hosting, with emails, design, software here in the Bahamas. Also for those of us to be able to pay for the services here with Bahamian currency?

Rory,
Elaborate, give me some stats.
My company is currently negotiating a contract to have the physical hosting in the states, but, with service, sales with local numbers and payment here in the Bahamas.
would it be worth it for Bahamians if the pricing was competitive.

yes, thats why I gave me email addy, no sense a one on one convo here
Pricewise, there is no advantage of having it hosted here. For example:
Bahamas B2B offers this for 16/month
Disk Space 150 mb
Bandwidth 2 gb
3 email accounts
10 mySql databases
PHP and CGI
FrontPage Extensions
24x7 Email, Telephone and Web-based Tech Support
etc
Securehost for 29/month
Bandwith 5gb
5 email accounts
no sql databases
ftp, asp, cgi, php
etc
Now with godaddy.com for example 10 bux/month gets
Bandwidth 100gb
2 gb space
500 email accounts
10 mysql databases
a free domain name
php, mysql, asp cgi,
Adwords credit
etc
As you can see, its much more practical to host with an online webhost.

I use a free host (hostingisfree) but right now, I am looking for a paid host because in a few months I am going to lauch a new website that I am working on.
as far as I know they are hosting that in the US anyway :-)
PS. Godaddy like to Godown alot too, and they have alot of limitations for ASP code.
Thanks for the heads up.
BTW who hosts your website(s)?

The hosting will not be here, but in the states. What will be available here is the service, and payment to a local company and some you can talk to face to face.
currently it is discountasp.net
Thanks, but right now, I'm looking for a PHP/mySql host, since that is what I'm doing my site in.
