The people of Grand Bahama are now being faced with new fears and more questions as another boy is reported missing on that island in the space of three months. This issue is becoming troubling and ridiculous at the same time as Police and residents are fighting for answers as to the whereabouts of Jake Grant, Mackinson Colas, Deangelo McKenzie and now 11-year-old Junior Reme.
God help us!

Here are some information on this case:
- Junior Reme was last seen with his mother (Masigen Timor), on Tuesday morning.
- He was last seen wearing black pants, blue shirt and black Nike tennis shoes.
- He has brown complexion, slim build, 5-ft. 7-inches tall, and wears a low haircut.
- Junior Reme was also employed as a packing boy at the Winn Dixie Foodstore in Freeport.

For information and photos of the other missing boys Click Here. (http://www.bahamasissues.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=289)

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Junior Remy or any of the other missing boys from Freeport are asked to please call Royal Bahamas Police Force in Grand Bahama at these numbers:
Police Hotline:
1(242)352-1919
Command Center:
1(242)351-4774 or 1(242)351-4775 or 351-9111 or 351-9991
Emergency Numbers:
911 or 919
There is a now $85,000 REWARD for information leading to the safe return of these children or the arrest and conviction of any person involved in their disappearance.

We here at Bahamas Issues are looking for suggestions from our members and the general public on how we can better assist the Police and the Government in finding out what is going on in Grand Bahama.

The questions I am asking are:
- Should the citizens of Grand Bahama give up their rights for a short time to allow the police to do a search of every home on that island?
- When is international help going to arrive to assist in this matter before another child goes missing on Grand Bahama?
- Who should we call?
- Why are children still roaming freely on Grand Bahama while a search is still going on for three missing children?

Lets hear your answers and suggestions on this issue.

these are certainly questions that need answering.

question also, why are children roaming freely in Nassau without adult supervision, isnt there a law against this, and arent they worried after what has been going on in Freeport?

eg. Children selling fruit on the side of main roads and busy intersections (dangerous even for an adult in nassau!)

AS for bringing in international help, all they need to do is watch TV and follow what the police do in those instances, or maybe call a police dept in the US or UK that has been involved in this situation before to find out what they do.

Hope they find out something soon.

Rory

I feel that the Police need to assign a task force to deal with this issue ONLY and to seek the assistance of the FBI who deals with this type of crime. They should also have people to observe the daily movements of persons in the locations where these crimes have occured and then take photos of persons passing in those areas everyday and then compile profiles of those persons i.e. where they live, work, hang out etc., and then go from there.

Another angle is to check all the boats that leave Freeport/Grand Bahama to see if any of those boats were in the harbour at the same time when these boys went missing. Thereafter, they need to check the crew (background etc.) and see how long those crew were working the ships (slavetrade). Several years ago, I may not have thought of this, but nowadays anything is possible.

The person(s) who have committed these crimes know that we are not fully equipped to handle these types of crimes and that is why they feel that they can get away with it. That is why I feel that the Government cannot just sit on this and let it slide because they don't want to put fear in the citizens. I think people need to be scared and know that people are watching them and something is being done about the situation.

MAYBE IF THE REWARD WAS HIGHER, I WONDER IF THAT WOULD BRING IN SOME INFORMATION? YOU KNOW MONEY IS A MOTIVATOR.
WINN DIXIE NEEDS TO BE COMBED THROUGH WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB. IT IS THE COMMON FACTOR IN THE WHOLE CASE.
I HOPE THE SICK BASTARD IS SOON CAUGHT AND PUT ON PUBLIC DISPLAY FOR PUBLIC TORTURE.
