The Bahamas film and play board has allowed the movie Broke Back Mountain to be played in the theater. Yet they stop movies like the players club and south park from being showed at the theater. All of these movies are rated R which means they are for adult only.:what:
On a side note the Bahamas Chirstian council was up in arm calling for the boycott of Harry Porter a few years. Now they are very quiet on this matter.
I am not attacking nobody all i am intrested in is fair play for all. If this movie is allowed to be seen then i would like to know why south park or the players club was not allowed.:raw:

maybe the film board & christian council have new members with more open minds.

I remember when they changed the rating for mortal combat to be shown here. it was actually a pg-13 movie and they put an 'R' rating on it. that meant that only adults could go to see a kids movie. then there were some adults later who said the movie was nonsense. well of course it would be nonsense for adults....cause it was for KIDS!!! ya know sumtin'? we really have a lot of ******** at the top.

I won't go to see broke-back mountain. I don't like 'chick-flicks'. :)

I hear you. There was nothing wrong with The Players Club (aside from it being a bad movie) but I feel that noone should support this gay enabling attitude that seems to infect The US film industry.

boy something tell me ta see if this issue has been addressed on this board... how da... where da... who da... i can't even speak lol this movie promotes homosexuality in all senses of the word. if people wanted to see it, the Film Board shud kno that they probably have it on a $5 DVD by now anyway! i have a low tolerance level for homosexuality and related topics, and i make no apologies for it. i hope the theatre regrets having to spend money to play this movie..waste of electricity...

You hit the nail on the head. Jesus came to teach love for your fellow human being. But all there is, is hate hate hate. I hate this one because of that or that kind of person because of this.
