Joe Baboon 03-29-06, - 01:07 AM http://www.thenassauguardian.com/ hmmmm..... They seem to give that thing a facelift every couple months. Still the same old broken php code though. I really love how they mix the local stores and the international stories together in the business section. Makes it soooo easy to read. Crazycoyo 04-03-06, - 08:00 PM It doesn't look too bad and at least it looks better than the Serach the Guardian they had up there for years. Rory 04-03-06, - 08:15 PM but nothing works as usual .. dead link galore .. Excalibur 04-04-06, - 12:13 AM Is this website just getting worse? They are so unstable they change the look every week. They are like Pepsi that try and sell you an ad with lavish dancers, celebs and songs but will not work on the darn product..... This website is a disgrace! chancellor 04-04-06, - 01:02 AM Perhaps they need to give up and hire a design company. Will it be that painfull? Rory 04-04-06, - 07:06 AM then they have a year or so old article pop up as a new article .. check this one out ... saw this same article last year . .. :-)))) http://www.thenassauguardian.com/national_local/41534564881216.php Alien 04-04-06, - 07:46 AM The bahamajournal is much better with its online edition than that of the Guardian. The guardian "like alot of institutions" in this country, have fallen prey to believing in their own superiority. They believe because they were possibly the first and have been the best for so long, that they deserve to give up crap design, crap reporting and crap headlines. Well, the journal and the Tribune have been showing them otherwise for quite some time now. :hammer: garnelleo 04-04-06, - 10:06 AM The bahamajournal is much better with its online edition than that of the Guardian. Were is the Trib's. chancellor 04-04-06, - 11:35 AM I've heard that the tribue has a website, but I have yet to find out what the actuall url is. What's funny is that the people who are saying this dosen't know the url either. But I tell you if the tribue was online that would be the first thing I look at every morning. But alas, thats what happens when you have dinosaurs who only care to know about a world already passed away. Rory 04-04-06, - 11:38 AM http://www.100jamz.com/ :dgi: PS. that looks like a Jamaican Web Site ... Jer 04-04-06, - 11:39 AM Perhaps they need to give up and hire a design company. Will it be that painfull? Could be a good contract for someone with web design skills. Rory 04-04-06, - 11:41 AM Could be a good contract for someone with web design skills. they will most likely outsource it to india . theres no industry in the Bahamas for web development, i tried it from back in 1996 .. still isnt hapening yet, you gotta do 10 other things to survive the rest of the year .. most people in Nassau want to spend max $500 for a whole web site .. yeeah right . Alien 04-04-06, - 12:36 PM http://www.100jamz.com/ :dgi: PS. that looks like a Jamaican Web Site ... Where is the news section rory? :dgi: |
