Truth Hurts

The fact of the matter is, the land was stolen from honest people who were forced to move into that swamp.
The fact is they had no chance in hell of ever developing it without a major developing company with the collateral to make it happen for those lost in the woods saps.
The fact is Sunshaine and Arawak stole the land, but actually did something with it.
The land is still crap land.
Pinewood is an overblown Government project, and anyone who lives there is in a glorified ghetto.
Arawak Homes and Sunshine group made MILLIONS from poor suckers on both ends of this deal.
The Pinewood people are finally getting some pride and actually re-modelling their government project "The only good news out of this suckers bet".
Well, is there anymore truth about Pinewood I missed?
Please feel free to add!

:what: Maybe when you're betting on a horse in a race, you need to know something about it's history on the track.

isn't it a pity that we don't read. they sya htat if you want to hide something from us put it in a book...or a newspaper.
a search at the archives will reveal that:
pinewood land was owned mostly by a non bahamian who got permission to develop in the 1960s/1970s. no one ever expcect the tyoe of population expolosion that we have today. few houses were there. south beach was far away.
sunshine/arawak homes bought it...no one complained before then...that's when the complaining started. bahamians own the land.
what flood? have you been to pinewood recently...if you did you'll know that pinewood does not flood...the wells are nowbeing maintained.
if you were there recently, you'll see baseball diamond put in by the mp; a second bsketball court..2 tennis courts about to be completed and a soccer pitch inder construcation.
mouth can say anything. get it togwther.

Well So You Say, but the TRUTH will be be revealed when the rainy season begins at the end of April.
I'll put money down that the Jacaranda River will STILL be flowing!

lol, thank god plane street never had a flooding problem, but i'll bet on jacaranda too.
they got the drainage worked out, but a lot of the land is like valleys, and when it floods the drainage is bound to fill up for a few days, always does, but not for regular rain anymore, not often
