I dont think its fair to call the Bahama Journal Anti-american because some idiot like Dr Alcena writes Anti-american commentary. However, I do think that Dr Alcena is in fact misguided though. It is rather ironic that in America the citizens have free expression and his hero Castro don't allow it in cuba.

The Americans can cuss out their President and disagree against its goverment policy publicly without fear of reprisal or incarceration. Yet his hero fidel would sooner jail dissenters of the so call revolution if they vocalize their opposition to his policies.

I am convinced that Dr Alcena is on the verge of losing his damn mind. I am beginning to wonder why the good doctor don't go and live in Cuba with his beloved dictator and demagogue!

The manner in which he praises Fidel Castro, one is left to wonder whether Dr Alcena is a communist and would rather see the Bahamas govern by Castro's philosophy and his abuse of cubans basic human rights. Does anybody gives a damn about human rights anymore? Certainly one Dr Kevin Alcena don't give a damn!

Its an Editorial though, not Commentary, so that means it represents the papers views.

Its an Editorial though, not Commentary, so that means it comes from the paper itself ..?

Hmmmm interesting... if thats the case i must now take another look at the Bahama Journal and Mr Jones. Life is often times stranger than fiction! To Have Dr Alcena writing its editorials is a big mistake or he must own a very large stake in the company. Either way Dr Alcena, excuse the expression-bad news.

Rory I may be mistaken but isn't preclearance more of a convenience for US immigration to move US tourists out of Nassau as quickly as possible, easing the strain on the US airport side? I thought it was beneficial for Bahamians as well, because they aren't held up at the US airport and if their papers were messed up it saved a plane ticket?Am I missing something? I won't even comment on the communist slant.BTW/ before Mr.Alcena starts throwing stones calling the US imperialist, start at home the Brits were and may be the greatest imperialists of modern times.
