so its impossible to forget that homosexuality is a sin when you people are focusing on it so heavily.

In general heterosexuals, really don't care about homosexuals. If you notice almost 99% of the gay threads on this forum is started by Vicky, it's kinda hard not to focus on it when someone is always bringing it up. It's almost like she wants someone's approval (I'm saying she does but that's how it seems).

What you bahamians, and people in general need to learn to do is LEAVE OTHER PEOPLES business ALONE, but of course we all know that this is the "bahamian" way.

Once again, it's hard when someone always bringing it up. Eg. Vicky has a whole thread on her life, her gender etc etc. She has PART ONE AND PART TWO, obviously she doesn't care but if you care than keep it private.

No I am quite comfortable with my name, so there's no changing it. And it makes no sense arguing about an issue that is FACTUAL, LOOK IN THE BIBLE, it CLEARLY states why the city was destroyed SIN. ANd who ever said anything about homosexuals entering the kingdom of heaven? We all know that NO sin will enter. So wheres your point? And yes if you read correctly you would have seen that I indirectly said that homosexuality is a SIN, so its impossible to forget that homosexuality is a sin when you people are focusing on it so heavily.
What you bahamians, and people in general need to learn to do is LEAVE OTHER PEOPLES business ALONE, but of course we all know that this is the "bahamian" way. Let's recall the Columbine Incident. It's horrible to wish or even speak of something like this, but that is where we are going to get. Have any of you ever heard of the TV programme "Snapped", people flippin out and just cracking under pressure? That's what's going to take place in this lil country if we dont learn to mind our business. Instead of gossiping about other folk, what we need to do is ensure that our souls are prepared for the kingdom of heavan and judgement day. I know many of you may disagree with my comments, but lets remember, this is REALTY and ANYTHING can happen. Meteorologists and geologists said that the Bahamas was not a region for tornados, but look what took place in the eastern district of nassau, the news reported at least THREE small "twisters", and they said never. Some people have predicted that we will soon get to the point of gay bashings, but have we forgotten that homosexuals are people as well, and are fully capable of retaliating?
And now I digress to MY initial point:
MIND YOUR BUSINESS

what you mean by "YOU Bahamians" arent "YOU" Bahamian?...its as if your trying to scold grown people...your getting off to a rough start coming off so defensive...

I completely understand your points though they are extreme. But i reallly dont know how to describe you. Are you ahomosexual? Because if you are it is clear that you live proudly in your sin and where is like a badge of honour. This thread im sure was not developed for either side to advocate for what they believe to be right or wrong because this would be a neverending thread. As i made mention before the problem with "Homosexuality in High Places" is that some (not all) use our government funds and their power to maintain their lovers and whoever else. Their sexual orientation whether straight or not has nothing to do with their job performance.

Ladies and Gentleman let me just say this:
The issue of homosexuality isnt one whats moral and whats not cause that argument will never end. Fact is as human beings we all have rights and being homosexual doesnt disqualify anyone from the right to be themselves.

Adidasboi, understand that it is not that I PROUDLY live in sin or I wear my sexual preference as you said, "as a badge of honor", it's just that I believe in equality and being FAIR. None of us have any right to judge anyone else as it relates to sin. And I too agree that my points may be a bit extreme. Again I TOTALLY agree with you when you say, "use our government funds and their power to maintain their lovers and whoever else". I know this far a FACT. And you are so right, no ones SINS has ANYTHING to do with their job performance. I will end with by quoting adidasboi987, "Ladies and Gentleman let me just say this: The issue of homosexuality isnt one whats moral and whats not cause that argument will never end. Fact is as human beings we all have rights and being homosexual doesnt disqualify anyone from the right to be themselves."

I know, that's where I got the "to know them" from and it's exactly the same from the bible too.
You haven't answered my question:
I am asking you what is so special about him emphasizing the fact that his daughters have never "known" a man.

from your post 230 Genesis 19:5 (New King James Version)

5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”
This is not an exact translation now is it.

If all the men were homosexual what would be the point of offering the daughters at all. Homosexual males have no sexual intrest in females in any condidtion.
Who knows and it just does not matter as I said the Jews wrote the story and the Jews say its not about homosexuality. Do you think you know better than they do about their story.....

Dude! I think you may wanna consider changing your screen name!
And lets get one thing straight(literally), we can argue back and forth for years as to whether or not Sodom and Gamorrah was destroyed because of sin or homosexuality(which by the way is a sin in case yall forgot), Vicky will twist something her/his way. (by the way the story of Sodom and Gamorrah is not the ONLY place where "to know someone" was expressed. Everywhere else it referred to sexual intercourse, so I don't see how it is suddenly different for this story)
But I digress, back to my original point-
NO PRACTISING HOMOSEXUAL WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

Uh the translation comes from the hebrew word yadha 943 times it means to get a quanted in the Bible how come in the Sodom story it now means homosexual sex. As I said before it comes from a Jewish story written by Jews and Jews say it not about homosexuality. I even posted the Hebrew to english translation. Please show me what I have twisted if you can

Then the thread should be abusing the system in high places. But the person that started the thread made it a point to target homosexuals. What should we GLBT do say nothing and hide while you people demonize us and speak lies. No way not me.
