Why? Because we banned Brokeback Mountain and we stripped Ms. Teen Bahamas of her crown because she was gay!
What jeers did they throw? Say they didnt know we had movie theaters in this country!:jawdroop:

The Bahamas is getting more free publicity.
I was watching The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and in his monologue he mentioned that ”Broke back mountain” was banned in the Bahamas and said its not even called ”Broke back mountain” in the Bahamas its called “Hey mon, what you doing back there mon”. It was funny.
Keep this going and maybe all those people who voted not to allow gay marriages may think of this place as a great destination.

Yea, I say winner of the Week:The Bahamas
WinterGrace 04-07-06, - 08:28 PM It doesn't matter if the publicity is good or bad. If you look at the Hollywood stars they don't care what people saying about them as long as they keep talking and they stay in the news (could backfire though). The more you are in the news the more popular you become.

lol.:hammer: Suk teet. The U.S. judging us on morality and "progression" issues is like Stevie Wonder being the judge for America's Next Top Model.
Hell, if the U.S had to be put to task on all of its gross abuses on mankind it would be on TV all day, everyday, for the rest of the days left on earth.

Don't be suprised that a considerable section of America is greatly ignorant about any country.........which includes their own. Ask some high school student in Florida where the Bahamas is and they will make two possible answers.....Haiti or Jamaica!
We can only hope this publicity dosent backfire....you know how hypocritical ppl are. And then again that demonstration in 97(was it?) should have done something also.
