I do all of my banking and bill paying online. Most purchases I make are done online, not because it is cheaper, but because I don't have time to go wandering around five different stores to try and find what I need. When many local businesses are only open 9-5 M-F, and closed an hour for lunch, how is any professional person expected to patronize them?

I have to agree with rory alot of bahamians don't realize the full potintial of the internet and websites so businesses won't be willing to spent any money on websites

In this day and age not to have a business web site is to be left out in the cold. It is as essential as having a P.O.Box address and a phone! :)

I so agree, CG you are the man!

Even if "bahamians don't realize the full potintial of the internet and websites" staying away is not helping.

I'm not saying businesses should stay away but having a company website is alot more expensive than having a P.O. Box or phone intially. This is what probably turns alot of business away from having one. I do agree not having one is bad though if not for now for the future because computers are in alot of schools today.
