--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the recent events that have occured and now the truth comming out about using someone elses name falsely to post under raises some very serious questions about the safety of using the OII to communicate messages or anything else in or out of the islands since it would be very easy for them to take atvantage of personal information that anyone has on their computer while using their systems. Let me put this plainly, do you want any of your personal information whatever it may be exposed? I dont think so, so I would use great care in which service I would put my trust in. It would be very interesting to see what is on a certain laptop mentioned that as full access to all of OII software. Personal business information, Future business ventures, Personal financal records, Passwords, Account numbers, Banking records, who knows what it might be worth to certain other people. Just a word to the wise use caution in what you choose.

Not trying to get everyone paranoid, but if you're on the web, no information is safe.

ISP's are the least of your worries and firewalls only keep the amateurs out. :taped2:

This is Chris Claridge, one of the owners of OII and I am here to let everyone know this "Gatekeeper" and some others like him are stirring up unnessisary trouble and spreading false rumours about our Company, Owners and other Abacoinians on multiple Message Boards. The accusations are slanderous and baseless. We do not monitor our clients personal business on the internet nor do we wish to.

We do not condone on our Message Board rumours, Threats nor accusations. We encourage discussions about issues, but do not allow malicious postings nor have we posted anything derogatory or defamatory towards specific individuals.

I would invite these accusers, to come to my office, drop me a line or call us directly if they have any specific beefs with myself, company or employees and respectfully keep such harmful postings to themselves.

Essentially, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.

Rumours without proof, are just that.
