You said RELIGIONS why? Because how i see it, it is difficult for those of the different religions to agree on certain issues as it is now. And as i see it there are people who are having enough problems being devoted to their own religion so why would you feel that it would make a difference in this case?

You are absolutely right, religions do have a hard time seeing eye to eye. But there is one thing they all can agree on, the need for social order. I never suggested it would be easy but religions can work together for the common good. The Tsunami was a prime example. Many religions came together for a common goal.
