Did Jesus Christ come to establish Christianity?

Jesus himself never made any reference to any religion but only to a Kingdom.

Is religion more of man than of God?

Today the biggest problem on the earth is religion and was the biggest opposition to Jesus when he was on earth!

You asked if Jesus Christ come to establish Christianity? He came to establish the kingdom but it was St. Paul who really formed Christianity as we know it.

You also said "Jesus himself never made any reference to any religion but only to a Kingdom." As far as I can remember from my Christian days, that it true but I stand to be corrected.

"Is religion more of man than of God?" You asked. Yes, I think so. So we must remember it is God we worship not religion.

"Has much changed?" You ask. Yes, in some areas it has. Religion has "slipped" quite a bit in the power and influence it once held over people. I think that is good. God should not, and I doubt "he" wants to be shoved down the throats of people. You take God by faith, with your own free will without outside pressure. That is what must be pleasing to God.

I wont even give an extensive comment. These are simple questions that have simple answer, however, poeple choose to complicate them.

Wow a thread on Christianity I can agree with.
Christ did not come to establish a religion for him self. He came to teach a new way of life that truly was pleasing to the Creator. Living as Christ (the man that walked the earth) taught fulfilled all the laws of the profits. Love the Creator with all thy heart and soul and love thy neighbor as thy self.
Love thy neighbor as thy self. Treat thy neighbor, as you want to be treated.
Here we go Equal rights for all. Equal laws for all.
