Good slate, they actually put together something that can be worked out!
I like the "names", but can we see some bio's??

I mean, alot of the people we hear about, and I wonder if the FNM website has there bio's up as yet??

This is great news, the FNM can actually expect to win a few seats this time around, if not the house.

Bran Mcartney in Bamboo Town...he is a good man, and I like him!

that list scares me there are some suspect lawyers on his list and the people are old...and all the people dont live in their respective areas...maybe its just my reservations but to me its looking like a bunch of the same thing...the people have to win in 2007...

Lawyers, besides being mathematically challenged, carn run nuttin'...I do not know aboout their ethics, though I hear most lawyers are crooked. If other people do not step forward we will be burdened with more of the same like Taf had implied. I was shocked to hear Al Jarret say on "Jones & Co" the things he said about Bahmians. People like Mr. Jarret do not have any expectations of themselves with respect to owning the economy, so they project their attitude on others. Mr. Jarret is a disgrace and should resign as Chairman of the Bank of The Bahamas. What happen to people like Marlon Johnson? The FNM needs to snatch him and hold him close.

Like Taffy...I have some serious concerns about this group. For example, too many Lawyers, recycled has beens like Desmond Bannister and still keeping the ball among the elite!

However, I can stomach this group if that's what it will take to chuck this pack of numb skulls out of the people's house! :cutie:

Yup, I feel the same way. I said this several years ago, this person cousin, uncle, daughter, grand this or that, etc., foolishness. Also, we have more than lawyers to offer.

For the most part, they are o.k. though.

not on your life. politics and economic development so far do NOT go hand in hand :taped2: ... unless of course we are talking about the economic development of a politician's personal checkbook, which by the way, i see being rife within both established parties.

Yeah for the most part this list is okay.....I question one or two of them though. I dont agree with political leaders running their personal friends when others are out there ready to serve effectively.

It will be interesting to see what the actual list of candidates will turn out to be, since the FNM's candidate committee has not (as the Journal suggested:footmouth ) in fact chosen any candidates as yet. Constituency associations have put forth their choices or groups of names, but no candidates have been selected by the committee as yet.

As an FNM insider, the Journal is wrong on a few of the names.

Stay tune conformation is near at hand

Yup, as an insider on both sides of the divide, I concur with you. The Journal was also wrong to say that candidates have actually been selected. No potential candidates have even formally come before the candidates committee yet.
