Before Sodom; God destroyed the entire world because of sin (Not just homosexuality). Sodom was a reflection of the world before the flood and that is why it had to be destroyed. The same holds true for the world today. The world today is a reflection of the world in the days of Noah and Sodom. Believe it or not, God will destroy this world again for the last time.

"For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah."
This will be the final Judgment for the earth.

My next question: How does the church deal with people that are known or suspects of incest,are these people treated on the same level as Gay people. Why is it not "right" to be gay, why is it not fair for a gay couple to get married, and why the hell are we having this discussion all over again. I swear, every few weeks we have the same issues resurfacing and we argue the same points with neither side convincing the other of anything...feel like I am stuck in some eternal loop that replays this same debate over and over and over again.......

candy although your thoughts are sweet like your name. homosexuality and the christian church, at least one that doesnt deviate from the king james bible, can never mix.

With all of the anti gay preachings in the bible (written by who knows) christians will never change their views on the subject and becuase it is their belief i would never expect them to.

canewry- what set of people would that be? i know i am rusty on my bible but growig up christian i remeber adam and eve being created, they had kids and that was it. then the earth was miraclous populated only to be cut down to only 7 folks. those folks (noah and crew) populated the earth again. since we on the subject of noah and the rest, i would specualte that they were all one race. if the earth population was cut down to one race, how is it that we have all these variations. God could have created more folks but the bible i was tuaght doesnt account for that.
