I sometie forget that My people can be decent when they are ready.
As i drove part the straw market site today i remeber the day when the old market was on fire, and i remebered thousands of people standing there gazing. But i also remebered the hundreds of people who became fire fighters to save some of this country most pride possesions. As the fire i was in uniform which is not condusive for firefighting so i went by the musem and helped the person who were taking our country treasure to a safe place. It was then that i noticed the hundreds of people from all walks of life working together not only to secure the exhibits but also to fight fires. I mean there were trucks from civil aviation, BEC, BTC Cable Bahamas and even Water and sewage were there to lend a hand.
I do belive on that day, this Bahamaland was truly united as One.

The straw market will be finished in 2012 right in time for the election :)

Which may or may not have been intentional. A government cannot benefit from a 6 year project in The Bahamas unless it wins the one or two elections during that time. If The FNM wins in 2007 they will benefit from the new straw market.

LOLOLOLOL, I know, I saw it Saturday night, it was so funny, I LOVED all characters, esp the "mentally challegned" girl, the angry Haitian, the hungry-belly sister and the BEST MR EXAGGERATOR.

They still on Thur-Sat this week if anyone wants to see it, it's worlth it.
