Following close to a yearlong search for a new president for the College of The Bahamas (COB), Education, Science and Technology Minister Alfred Sears announced on Sunday that Canadian academic Janyne Hodder has been selected as the fourth president of the institution.

She has the most experience and most professional.

Who knows?

Maybe they have different visions for the college...one was better than the other perhaps. At least Ms. Hodder is not just some foreign import who, until now didn't know that The Bahamas consited of more than Nassau. She did had experience with the college before and was one of the first lecturers.

What a joke.....This says a lot. Obviously they think there is no viable Bahamian to do the job.

Didn't that fella on the radio show couple weeks ago said she was lacking in one major area.Fund raising capabilities,also isn't grants are what is needed to take the college to another level?Remember the Dean of the Nutty Professsor.

she might be the one best qualified overall out of the 3 potentials,i believe C.O.B. means biznezz by choosin ms Hodder,because education is serious biznezz if you can separate it from politricks:hammer:

Cheif this is how it is here, didnt you know ..?

I could fly several thousand miles to do a service call in the US while i cant even get any work here because im not a foriegnor!! LOL
