Has anyone of you driven past Mt. Pleasant recently? They are now constructing a long 'asspt' wall stretching for miles extending the Lyford Cay gated community area as far as Jaws Beach. In 10 -20 years the all of Nassau will be gated community and we shall be trapped and caged within the middle...becoming "god's angry babies" mad at the world!

nah dread, they always owed that land, they are just now building a small community there. It was basically all bush and if you wernt through the tracks you would get to Lyford's fence.

Gated Communities are the IN thing. Even Haitian villiages are being gated dread...lol

this is a new gated community with the long fence and rock. Not owned by Lyford Cay.

Where did you hear this? I haven't heard anything about it, (That may be because I've been so busy lately though). I just wondered if information regarding this was public knowledge or if this was a "confidential" deal.

I do not know the location of your house,from what you said I imagine that these three parts are just like a sandwich and your house is in the middle, do you think they would buy the middle part?
