Basically, I am saying be content in who you are now even if you buy into the lies that you are suppose to be this or that. If you born a man, you are a man. WinterGrace 05-30-06, - 10:51 PM Lol! Dn't worry its an ...thing.:) You need to stop speaking in codes and use complete sentences. bahmaboy 05-31-06, - 01:11 AM vik no comment on the first post, thanks for expounding later. rizzo, ur second post had me on the floor. good response. winter- i am guessing persons like u is why vik is here and there tryin to educate pple. this is a serious and real issue, a person born one gender but identifies with another can not simply "be content". google the stories of these people and u will c y. If you born a man, you are a man. ah, re read the beginning of this thread... obviously you missed the humor of it... the topic was "a girl like me" a drama movie... I humourly tried to switch the topic at vicky's expense... by saying, 'Bahamians don't want to watch a movie like that; instead they would rather watch: a poor boy like me.' the switch was funny, if you got it...Obviously you didn't...but after you reread the post and finally get it...I promise we shall laugh together...again at vicky's expense...but he can handle it...he has huge ballz.... see that was funny again....if you know who vicky is and the history of him on this site and his agenda to sensitize us on homosexual/transgender issues...Its norm for many of us to hijack his thread....its a running joke...some times we are able to, other he is too quick witted. nevertheless, thanks for the advice...don't really think i need it though... canewry 05-31-06, - 09:08 AM Lol! Dn't worry its an ...thing.:) lol... perhaps...but she lost me... I think she is not quite of aware of the original topic and vicky's agenda and the humor to how and what I responded... Its cool... newbies! i-omega 05-31-06, - 09:12 AM Gender dysphoria is nothing like bipolar disorder as there is no treatment or cure. Its acceptance from with in that is key, which is very hard when there is so much intolerance on the out side... Opps sorry there are 2 treatments: 1 sex change surgery 2 equal treatment as a human being.. Severe depression and suicide come about because of intolerance by others not from with in.... Most of us that have learned to accept who we are and don't live a lie to make other people happy with our lives are murdered. That is what this movie is about.... Mr Vicky,i'm movin on.:sailing: WinterGrace 05-31-06, - 11:31 PM the topic was "a girl like me" a drama movie... I humourly tried to switch the topic at vicky's expense... So, if you were being serious and someone was making fun of you at your expense..would it be hilarious? by saying, 'Bahamians don't want to watch a movie like that; instead they would rather watch: a poor boy like me.' the switch was funny, if you got it...Obviously you didn't...but after you reread the post and finally get it...I promise we shall laugh together...again at vicky's expense...but he can handle it...he has huge ballz.... I re-read again and again it was not funny but that must be my newness. WinterGrace 05-31-06, - 11:42 PM lol... perhaps...but she lost me... I think she is not quite of aware of the original topic and vicky's agenda and the humor to how and what I responded... Its cool... newbies! Ok whatever you say... And what's with the reference to the "newbies" if you post less than 2000 you are a "newbie" and if you post over 2000 could you be consider as old? I notice the great-grandfathers of the forum like to throw this word around like it gives them added respect. WinterGrace 06-01-06, - 12:01 AM winter- i am guessing persons like u is why vik is here and there tryin to educate pple. this is a serious and real issue, a person born one gender but identifies with another can not simply "be content". google the stories of these people and u will c y. 1) I have watched several documentaries about the transgender and I have heard all their excuses. It does not move me one bit, I find that person weak with a low self-esteem. 2) Do you see the word you used "identifies" which suggests a psychological empathy with the feelings or experiences of another person...it doesn't mean to transform yourself into that person. Shane 06-02-06, - 05:09 PM Gender Dysphoria an excuses???? An excuses for what???? To simply be "different". They are using it to "sheild", why won't they just "come out" one time and stop tryoing to dodge corners. (Note different is in quotes. Also I am not trying to bash people.) Ps: Well genetics maybe envoled in this. Men have both male and Female chromosome XY (and Females XX). In some case males may have more than average females chromosomes making them XYX. This generally makes some men naturally feminine. This maybe the some influence onto this "Gender Sysphoria". Then the reaction to such info that may cause a brain overload; then some may 'try' and reply with some witty remark. When they just could have said (in this case type) nothing. Shane |
