If there was an agreement in place for the ballot boxes to be handled in a certain way why was it not followed? If Mr. Brown decided to do something different despite the agreement why weren't the interested parties informed in advance? This whole thing stinks. why would an electorate vote out an entire slate, but keep the two people (President & General Secretary) ultimately responsible for any perceived failures? It is not like a Bahamian general election where there are constituencies. These are the same group of voters doing something that on its face does not make any sense. Mr. Brown needs to stop hiding behind the Minister responsible and answer the justice team's questions.New elections are in order, and supervised by someone other than Mr. Brown who in my view has compromised himself.

well it has been alleged on many occasions tht the labour board has been known to recieve bribes from the past board (Rainbow Team)........guess da money was too sweet to lose.....it is this corruption that really gets me angry......but im sensin tht this one isnt gonna go by as easily as they want it to.......fight for ure right JUSTICE TEAM......
i do think however there will be some "forces" involved to silence the issue.....like i said i hope they stick their ground.

My wife thinks a new election should be called, I think she may be right. I don't know what provisions the union's constitution has for calling a new election but in the interest of fairness and peace of mind it may be necessary.

They might as well, the last ballot in my opinion was too close to call anyway. That's also why these government people needs to communicate. You're a fool if you refuse to explain your actions to people if you really did nothing wrong. Some of these officials go around saying "I dont need to answer to these people".....Like who the hell do you think you are!? You seriously need to know your position. That didnt make yourself look bigger just more like a fool, with the new stink of corruption allegations behind you because you refuse to answer to us, which means you have something to hide.

Anyways....I support a new ballot.

Also the fella could just be stubborn & truely believe that he is right .BTW: That Justice team are a bunch of idiots & the workers better take a good & hard look @ what they getting into.Because their behaviour leaves alot to be desired.Might be out of the frying pan & into the fire for the union members. but wouldnt that allow people who didnt vote the first time to vote now?is that fair to the other voters who exercised their right the first time around? and im sure the rainbow folks will not win the seats as the process has been tainted by the smell of corruption, true or false...I could have said that a lil better but you understand where im coming from...it all seemed so "convenient" for Mr. Brown to be off the island at his ILO meeting and calling the election right before he left plus moving the boxes at 5am in the morning (as I heard on the jeff lloyd show) he should be removed...they need a recount in plain view so folks will be see the pure unadulterated results...
