NO YOU LISTEN HERE BOI................BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING LETS LOOK AT WHAT HE/SHE WROTE

I aint been here in four months and yall still arguing about sissies?? How about we just give them an island all to themselves so they could aids-up themselves in private.

If thats not insulting i dont know what is..........did you get on his case for that........of course not......my resorting to personal attacks was done ONLY in response to what he said....

i have no problems with ANYONE expressing their views........but when talking about an issue as sensitive as AIDS i get upset,,,,,,,even more so when he tries to brand this deadly disease as one for only homosexuals........as you know this disease is the leading cause of death for individuals (male, female, homosexual, hetereosexual) between the age of 15-44 in the carribean region. This site is viewed by thousands of persons and i will not allow his HATRED to paint this false picture of homosexuals.

I don't think I attacked anyone personally. I don't remember addressing anyone specifically. Regardless, I won't apologize for being playful. Just so, I decided not to retaliate because if anyone took offense then they are much too sensitive for their own good.

The way I look at it, I have nothing to hide. Nothing to be ashamed about. Matter of fact, I'm probably the only person here using their real name. So when I speak, there's no denying my responsibility for what I say.

Man the way I see it...Im not into anyone trying to make me feel less evolved because Im not into their point of view or their lifestyle..whatever that point of view or lifestyle may be..so I'm with you on the point I underlined.

I read the posts of homosexuals or others on this site who try to drop it like those who arent down with the lifestyle are somehow behind the times, or are stupid or whatever descriptor you choose to use.

Man give me a flippin break. People will see homosexuality as immoral or unnatural and thats fine..people wont see it that way, and thats fine.

But all these people on this site who insist on trying to convince people that how they feel about this issue is wrong or inferior needs to just give it a rest..cuz the truth is that while alot of us get on this site and try to act progressive..some of yall still be right there when a guy looks feminine or acts like he has no backbone saying to yaself or others, "bey check dis lil sissy", or "dis dude is a lil punk"

BE FOR REAL!

That's true. I know even in my family, nobody's racist -- but whenever they get mad or they wanna make fun of you they throw out racist comments. If you dark-skinned, be prepared to get called tarbaby. If you light skinned they'll call you high yellow or dirty red. I don't think that they were racist or hateful. Its just the way they've expressed themselves.

What makes me laugh is that these "progressive" bahamians can't think for themselves. They usually adopt some american rhetoric. Like, remember when Kanye West started crying about rappers being homophobic because they made fun of gays?? But if you listen to rap its filled with words like "n*gga" and "b*tch". How hypocritical is that?? Its ignorant to say "fag" or "sissy" -- but its cool for kids to call each other "n*gga" and "b*tch".

Values are gone...people can't even be genuine or real..

im not trying to convice anyone of anything...my thing is leave these people alone...its not my business and its not yours...judge ye not be judge...its not right to treat homosexuals like they less than because they live an alternative lifestyle and you think they een going to heaven...newsflash there are more atheist than there are Christian fundamentalst Bahamians...all the hindus and muslims and whatever other religions out there can outnumber our population by 100% and still there are more to count...its about tolerance with me...respecting people for who they are and who they show you to be not because you dont agree with how their living.

and yes I wade in pettiness and call homosexuals flaming faggots and sissy snakes and a few more choice words that I wont go further into detail with...so what! as Im sure they have unpleasantries to say about my pretty "fish" tail because some of um secretly want to be me...they cant do anything about it they certainly wont beat me! I always have a weapon on me and I will mace them! but they probably will curse me out and I will laugh my tail off in they face...yinna know they could use them fifty pound word.

hey thats a bit harsh and unfair. Not to mention disrespectful.
Everyone is a valuable human being there for everyone opinion is theirs and personal to them thus just as valuable.

This is meant for everyone if you can't handel your personal opinion being criticized then you should not post it here. After you post proven facts and there is still criticism there is not much you can do but hold your ground. You need to let others know they are wrong or right but personal insults help no one.....

I will agree mikkis post was insulting actually very insulting. But to wrongs don't make a right. But yes we are only human to. Mikki I think knows better and I have wonder if this is him posting as I don't remember him being this insulting.
He knows full well there are more str8s infected with aids than GLBT. He knows if all GLBT are rounded up and put on an island, That it will not rid the Bahamas of GLBT as more are born everyday... He also knows that given an Island like Harbour Island or even Andross it would not be long before it is the best island to be on in the Bahamas.
