Has anyone heard that Billy Preston,a great R&B,Rock Artist from the 60's+70's has died? Much too young of kidney failure at the age of 59.Today's young Black Artists owe more than they know to many of the old stars,like Preston or the magnificent Marvin Gaye. They are missed.:angel:

he was so young...I liked him...with you im born again...is a favorite of mine...

Preston and many like him, before and after, were the Bed-Rock on which Rock, and other forms of popular music that we know now sits.

C'mon man..I een dissin' our artists.Billy Preston played R&B,plus keyboard for both the Beatles and da Rolling Stones.He was a star in his own right,plus a black man dat was huge in rock and roll sorta like Jimi Hendrix...jeez man,I jus commentin on da versatility of a black artist!
