The Bible was written by men but God is the Author.

Have you ever studied the history of the Bible????
Start with the Nicene Council put together by Emperor Constantine. These MEN decided what was put in the Bible and what was to be left out. Emperor Constantine was a Pagan who worshiped the Sun god.
How about the King James Version. Was King James a man?? By the way he was gay to.
There is so much more.

This shows me that you are at a wall now and your not being logical anymore.

My conversation with you in this thread has ended.

God speedDelroy I am not up against a wall.
I am pointing out to you and all who are following this thread the hypocrisy in your faith. I am not saying that homosexuality is not outlawed in the Old Testament. What I am saying is before you can use any part of it to condemn any people you must live by it your self if not you are a hypocrite.
The question is you a hypocrite???
Since when can you choose which laws of the Old Testament to live by much less tell me which laws of I should live by. If you can choose I can choose to.

Like I said point out in Christ teaching where gambling as in the casinos, lottery and homosexuality are wrong. Don’t refer to the Old Testament don’t quote any of the apostils. I said Christ teachings….

I want my copy of The Apochrypha back...I starting to forget it...
LOL @ Rory. Dude, even fourth world countries have lotteries. But check this out:

I'm inclined to believe that "Numbers" (the game, not the book) didn't take off because certain people just couldn't stand to see the Bahamian Everyman come in contact with large amounts of tender overnight.

There seems to always be this oppression (subtle or otherwise) of the middle and low classes by the government (most of whom tend to be in the elite).
I know of people in The Bahamas, who ONLY reason they're alive is because they're subsisting on ASUE, which too I've heard is illegal. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
And here it is in The Book of Acts, The Christian community doing something similar. But in Nassau, it's illegal. If ASUE is illegal, where's the voice of The Council on that? Or could it be that The Council also concurs with the illegality of the ASUE concept. If so, why?

And there seems to be this nasty little pattern of some Clergical Officials leading Governmental Officials by the nose.

--shrugs-- History repeats itself.

Now, I showed up on the scene in 1979, and I'll be curious to hear what the clergy had to say back then about individuals like Everette and Gorman Bannister and the like. Furthermore, I'd be even more curious in finding out if there's any truth to the rumor of "The Cocaine Wars" (a documentary) being deemed illegal with harsh fines and possible jail time as a penalty for one found with it in The Bahamas.
