Gambling for locals is one of those things that goes against " The Vision" our forefathers had for us when they made the constitution and laws. They wanted to stear us towards "christianity" and they have done a good job of it as there is a church on every street corner and the church is always in bed with the government and weild such great power. I dont think its a bad thing, there are some in foreign lands that envy this about us. I do believe both government parties wants to and see the benefits of legaliseing gambling, but they can NEVER go against the church.

which 'four fathers' you talking about?
The church got its offering from gambling donations and the various parties continue to get sponsor by number men. They got sponsored then, and they get sponsored now. In fact, a number of number men were the treasurers of various political parties. Our 'four fathers' were good christian gamblers and rum drinkers.' Nothing has changed. We just starting to look at them through real specs instead of coloured glasses.
