studio appt, so thats like an efficiency i think ... you can get a 1 bedroom with a beach and pool at Cable beach for around $100K .. plus the way the economy is in Freeport right now .. anyway its a decent price, and probably nicer than Cable Beach..

Yes it is like an efficiency/bachelor's pad, 80K is a good price esp with the waterfront but the question is the location of the condo, the neighborhood ect etc. And is the view really a good one?

I said waterfront property...I said nothing about its aesthetic appeal...

Having a waterfront property does bring beauty (they walk hand and hand) to the place automatically hence increase the value.

you asked the question: "And is the view really a good one?"

...leading me to speculate that the view wasnt a great one...(even though to me it isnt)

I don't know if the view is good, I was only speculating myself as to why the condo with the waterfront is such a good price. So I was thinking maybe the view is like half the waterfront or something or maybe it isn't, maybe this person desperate to sell :dgi:

I guess (with my Freeport Bias) it's a good view to me. If it was a little more over to the right you could watch the night life at the Count Baise Square on the weekends from the balcony. Taking that I believe the picture are the actuall view.

And then aging its not particularly waterfront as in beach but canal property and then that building has benn aroud for a while. But I'm not too sure about the surrounding buildings so that might affect the price too aside from the idea that he may really need to leave.

You sure sound as if you know Port Lucaya.Do you think the unit is in the Bell Channel Club complex? I can't figure out exactly where it is as the other photos show the marketplace,Pelican Cove and the front of Georgie Gibson's corner.

I wish I could get the pics here so that I could detail everything out.

The unit is not in bell channel complex. Bell channel is on the beach and cannal and it is directly across the cannal from the portion of Our Lucaya called lighthouse point. Bell is out of view in these pictures and would be off to the left.

taking the view from the condo, the first group of building on the canal across fom this condo is Pelican Bay resort. the ten story building in the back is Our Lucaya's "Westin". on the right in that pic is Port Lucaya Marketplace and the Count Basie Square or "the Bandstand" (which a rather open space) blocked out of view by Pelican Bay. (you could almost see the far edge)

Just about all the other pictures, if they do not show the condo building and its pool, shows Port Lucaya Marketplace and its Marina, which would be aprox.5-10 (and ten if there is actually "heavy" traffic) to drive to.

Thanks..I can't quite figure it out either.I saw some units for sale over by the edge of the Port Lucaya Resort and Marina parking lot, where they rent the mopeds. You know where I'm talking about, just as you turn the corner to go to Winn Dixie?Still sounds like a good deal, that is a pretty good neighborhood.
