Everyone in Nassau knows of the business that Bacardi has been in for decades. We also are aware of the side effects this type of business may present. It seems to me that these developers are attempting to purchase land which partly because of Bacardi's plant has a low market value, and then use the courts to close Bacardi down and inflate the value of their investment. I refuse to believe that they were not aware that when they wrote up their business plan and purchased the land in question that Bacardi's plant may have some impact on the quality of air at their site.
