Anyone heard this rumor: Kerzner to buy Pink Sands Hotel?

he wants to, and has for months, but local council , businesses, homeowners don't seem to want to let him ... he wants to raze the cottages there and build condos. they're also afraid he would shoe-horn in a casino.

coral sands, the hotel's next-door neighbour, is also interested in buying pink sands. should be interesting to see what happens at the next town council meeting.

Well that would be the worse ting ever happen to that island in some instances. Kerzner ain't gonna be a "small time operation" setup in my estimation. He would most likely lock off that whole section of Pink Sands. as far up on da water line as he can.
