I have yard beams that are tripped by attempted burglars on a weekly basis, they just dont learn. I have trip ropes set up all over the place now, hoefully thpse tresspassers will get HURT one of these times and learn by their mistakes! I have cameras, and much more. I carry weapons anywhere I go. If I had the cash, Id have a bullet proof vest, and if this was a TRULY free country, Id carry a handgun.

This island is full of crime, like there is no tomorrow, there is no escape, and it doest matter where you live anymore. Just means they come to me at 6am in the morning while they are by someone in the ghetto at 8pm at night! (I live on Eastern Rd in a garage apt by the way, not a rich white night, just get interpreted wrong)

Anyway, as for deaths, there really still isnt a whole lot of it yet, if you look at other countries, but we do have too much burglaries and violent crimes here, from machete attacks, rock attacks, to regular stabbings. Even the so called normal people carry knives as a self defence weapon, which shows how screwed up we are. Knives or machets will never be considered self defence, unless you grab one in the heat of the moment as you are being attacked, in other words if you have it on your person or carry it in your car, its illegal; might as well carry a gun!

As for martial arts, I studdied in them years ago, and held a several belts in several arts, but guess what, at night when being held up with UZIs, or having rocks thrown at you or bottles, it wont help, not in nassau.

but check them robbing tourists now on PI, i mean bold enough to do it right in view almost of the Police Station!!!!!!!!!!! The police at least got the driver, they did a good job .. the other 2 wont get far in nassau .

If they don't have to wait years to get their property back as it will be held for evidence for the trial. This could take years and lets not mention that the valuable property go missing while awaiting the trial or just after the trial.

Not all evidence is held for trial. A few years ago someone broke into my wash room and stole some cloths, tools etc. He was caught within a few hours. The goods were returned to me after they were photographed. The guy is now doing 2 to 5 for house breaking, or so I hear!

In the case of visitors I am sure every effort is made to get goods, money etc. Back to the tourists as fast as is possible.

SMT.... One thing you could always be assured of THERE will always be ignorant BLACK people trying to down their own.
